The winter season is upon us!
Winter classes begin mid to late January… for adults, kids and a popular new Zoomer’s (55+) daytime class. We also have some monthly creative workshops.

Thursday February 9 , 7:30-9:30 “Try This” Series
Dagbamba (northern Ghana) drumming Workshop with Rory Magill cost: $30 per person. Ages 16+
Thursday March 8 , 7:30-9:30 “Try This” Series
Dagbamba (northern Ghana) dancing Workshop with Kathy Armstrong cost: $30 per person. Please register with us in advance for these. Ages 16+
Monday February 20th, 10am-11am
Family Day Drum Workshop cost: $5 per person
Please register with us in advance so we know how many to prepare for.
Thursday April 19 , 7:30-9:30 “Try This” Series
Ghanaian Art Workshop with Maureen Clarke cost: $30 per person. Please register with us in advance so we can get the right number of supplies. Ages 16+

Concert: Ghana Beats and Eats , Centrepointe Chambers
Baobab Youth Performers with special guests Mississauga Festival Youth Choir under the direction of Deborah Bradley

Sankofa Concert Black Sheep Inn, Wakefield with Baobab Youth Performers
$10 adults $5 seniors students, kids under 12 free

Other Workshops
Baobab Community offers a variety of workshops for teachers throughout the season. Workshops for families, and young children are also offered, as well as team building and birthday parties.
